Microarrays of Ligand Combinatorial Libraries Utilizing Mixtures of Addressable Probes at Each Locus

While contemplating the prior paper, it has surprisingly been discovered that in a very general sense, one can fabricate a library of ligand combinations, particular those arrayed, simply by addressing different ligand-conjugated oligos to different and adjacent capture probes.

Figure 1 depicts the concept using arrays.

Of course any number and any kind of ligand-conjugated oligos could be addressed to an array locus given the appropriate capture probes.

Figure 2 depicts solution version of the invention, which is similar yet patentably distinct from Neri, et al (6).
