Being encouraged by the response we are enjoying from academia and looking to the need for launching journals in scientific field, we are glad to inform you that we shall soon launch 'THE ICFAI UNIVERSITY JOURNAL of OPTICS'.

As you are aware, Physics has emerged as a major field of study and its importance is being appreciated particularly as a means to create new industrial trends. The recent accumulation of scientific wisdom in this discipline is gradually transforming its huge social and economic potential into reality.

In this evolving scenario we wish to launch 'THE ICFAI UNIVERSITY JOURNAL of OPTICS' as a platform for the academia, industry leaders, and others concerned with the growth of Optics discipline to articulate their research findings, their vision about this evolving discipline, their expositions and propositions meant for bettering the management of new lines of research and through it disseminate the cutting edge knowledge among the industry and academia.

In this Journal we wish to publish original scientific papers, literature reviews and professional papers as well as research notes in the field of Optics. We therefore invite you to contribute articles on any issue under the discipline of Optics and all related areas to make our endeavor a success.
