I may understand from your two letters of declination that the IJTP would not be interested in such subjects as those discussed in these papers. However, you may admit that such subjects are closely related to well-known difficulties in the theory of the General Relativity, like the energy-matter pseudo-tensor, or the Schwarzschild radius. If we, practising researchers, and learned journals like the IJTP are not interested in the difficulties of a theory, then in what would we and you be interested? In propagating consensus? In consensual writings and publications? This is useless. There is no point in being interested, as researchers, in what is known, or admited, the object of the scientific research is the Unknown, not the Known.
I found the two papers by Mr Crothers very interesting, even if debatable. These papers, as any others, deserve the minimal consideration from a highly respected journal as the IJTP of being subjected to the reviewing proces, even a cursory one. They can be accepted for publication or can be rejected, but the IJTP must give, at least minimal, reasons for whatever decision. For instance, you can say simply "we do not understand these papers". But, if unfortunately, you choose to treat them as unwelcome, there would be no reason whatsoever for such a treatment.
And this is what worries me seriously.
Sincerely,
M. Apostol
