Abstract:
We quantitatively investigate relativistic energy, which is the proper replacement for relativistic mass, in different reference frames for Jupiter, Earth, and a comet passing Jupiter. Surprisingly easily, it follows that the different reference frames lead to different trajectories for the comet as it passes Jupiter. This leads us to conclude that relativity implies a many-worlds interpretation, very similar to the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics.
